How to Make Avocado Cilantro Lime Dressing
Blend it: Add the avocado, cilantro, lime juice, and garlic in a blender. Add some water and blend until smooth. You can add more water to alter the consistency.
Serve: Season your avocado cilantro lime dressing with salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.

Make-Ahead and Freezing Instructions:
To Make-Ahead: Follow the recipe as usual, scoop the ready avocado cilantro lime dressing into an air-tight container, and refrigerate. As long as you’re keeping your avocado dressing sealed up tight, you’ll be able to keep it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
To Freeze: If you decide to freeze this dressing instead, it will keep for up to 3 months. Make sure your container is freezer-safe and seals properly.
Make it spicy: You can also add more spice by adding a few drops of your favorite hot sauce, some cayenne pepper, or any other spicy spice you prefer.
Make it extra creamy: If you’re not allergic to dairy, you can ramp up the creaminess of this dressing by adding a bit of milk instead of water or even going a step further and adding some cream. The results are amazing.
Add nuts: You can’t go wrong with a little crunch and a yummy nutty flavor. It might not seem like a great idea to add nuts, but they perfectly complement this avocado dressing, leaving you wanting more. Just make sure you don’t have a tree nut allergy.

- 1 large avocado
- ½ cup chopped cilantro
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2-4 tablespoons water
- salt and black to taste
- Add the avocado flesh, cilantro, olive oil, lime juice, garlic and 2 tablespoon of water to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
