Each of these breakfast bars contain wholesome Paleo ingredients so you can start your day off on the right foot. They will keep you sustained for hours, and are super portable so they make a great choice when you need to eat your breakfast on the run.
1. Breakfast Bars
You’ll get lost in the flavor of coconut and banana in these breakfast bars, with cashews giving them a nutty and buttery flavor. With an ingredients list that you can count on one hand, there isn’t anything in these bars to cause you any grief while you’re eating them, or afterward. The wonderful thing about being on the Paleo diet is that you don’t have to argue with yourself over what you’re eating. There’s no reason to beat yourself up over a food, and therefore you’re in a much better place mentally which really helps to stay on it long term.
2. Almond Butter Breakfast
Savor the almond butter in these breakfast bars, as it is not only adding a ton of flavor to them, but protein, fiber, and healthy fat. Almond flour provides even more flavor, and coconut sugar makes sure that these bars are sweet enough to eat for your morning meal. There are a lot of ingredients in these bars, but you can make a big batch of them and store them for use during the week. You can use them for breakfast or for snacks when you need something right away to keep you on track and far from cheating.
3. Apple Peach Fig Bars
There’s a lot to slow down for in these breakfast bars, but it’s OK if you don’t have time and need to eat it while on the go. They’re full of real apple flavor thanks to applesauce, so be sure to go with unsweetened applesauce because all of the major brands will have added sugar if you go with a regular kind. There’s also actual apples in this, along with a peach and fresh figs. The figs give these a great flavor, and if you used to be a fan of Fig Newtons you’ll love the flavor that the figs give these bars.
4. Strawberry Nut Bars
These strawberry nut bars provide the perfect breakfast flavor and will be something that you look forward to having in the morning. Sometimes you just need to have a go-to breakfast in place so that you can wake up in the morning and not have to think about anything. This is especially true if you’re trying to give up coffee while on Paleo and are having a rough time getting used to caffeine-free mornings. When you have a batch of bars already made up it’s as easy as reaching for one and starting to munch.
5. Carrot Zucchini Bars
Even though these bars may not strike you as being very breakfasty because of the vegetables, the overall taste is sweet thanks to honey and sultanas. This means that while you can taste the carrot and zucchini, they have a different dynamic and are not savory by any means. This is one way to get a few vegetable servings in before lunch, and is totally in line with the Paleo way of eating. Going against convention is part of the plan, and eating vegetable-laden bars for breakfast fits right in to the philosophy.
6. Grain-Free Granola Bars
If it’s Paleo it’s gotta be grain free, and these granola bars are just that, and make a great breakfast option. We definitely recommend taking them up on the optional chocolate chips, especially since they’re recommending Enjoy Life chocolate chips, which are made with no dairy but still taste great and meet your chocolate needs. Starting the day off with a chocolate chip filled granola bar can only lead to good things, and as you watch your day unfold from a position of chocolate you will be quite pleased with yourself.
